Serve-A-Thon

At Loudonville Christian School (LCS) we believe that a pillar of education is teaching young people the value of serving. Each year our entire student body of Pre-K through 12th-grade students devotes over 7,000 hours to serving our local community. To further reflect the priority we place on service, we have a Serve-A-Thon once a year where the entire student body serves together during the school day.

The LCS Serve-A-Thon is similar to other schools’ walk-a-thons or 5Ks where students ask their families and communities to sponsor them financially in support of the school.

This year we are honored to partner with the City of Troy, Unity House, Joseph’s House Shelter, and Troy Drug Free Community Coalition. On Friday, May 31st, all 7th through 12th graders (approximately 132 students) will serve by collecting toiletry and food donations from our LCS Community and area businesses for these different organizations. They will also serve in South Troy street cleaning and park beautification.

We are asking for Corporate sponsors for this event. You may sponsor financially and/or with donated items. LCS is grateful to be a member of and to serve our Capital Region Community.
