Our Pre-3 program offers a caring and supportive environment aimed at fostering a love for Jesus, a love for others, and a love for learning. This program is specifically designed to boost a child’s confidence while developing their social, emotional, and cognitive abilities. Through engaging activities such as arts and crafts, music and movement, large group circle time, and interactive learning centers, children will enhance their pre-writing, pre-reading, and pre-math skills.
Our dedicated educators provide a safe and nurturing environment that encourages the development of trusting and positive relationships among peers. Daily routines include problem-solving, sharing, cooperation, and decision-making. Our program is designed to support parents in nurturing their child's spiritual, social, intellectual, emotional, and physical growth and development, as inspired by Luke 2:52.
By adopting a Christ-centered educational approach, we inspire young children to embrace their natural curiosity and desire to explore. Engaging in dramatic play enhances language skills within a literacy-rich atmosphere. The classroom curriculum invites children to create, inquire, discuss, and collaborate, both individually and as valued members of the classroom community.
Curriculum
Through engaging instruction and experiential discovery, our Pre-3 teacher introduces students to the world of learning, fostering a strong sense of self-efficacy (“I can do that!”).
Our primary objectives are to assist students in:
- Recognizing that they are created in God’s image, making them part of His wonderful world.
- Understanding their community through cooperative play and family interactions.
- Exploring God’s creation by identifying the characteristics of their surroundings and their role within it.
- Experiencing a range of enrichment subjects such as music, physical education, library time, and chapel.
- Engaging in creative activities through centers, art projects, purposeful play, science experiments, and hands-on learning experiences.
- Cultivating a love for learning through theme-based instruction, read-aloud sessions, and engaging letter and math activities.
Program Times & Tuition
LCS offers families both 5 day and 3 day programs to fully potty trained 3 year olds (by September 1).
Our program runs 7:50 am - 11:50 am daily.
