Get Involved

At LCS there are many ways to stay in touch, be a part of our family and support our school! There are several exciting community building events throughout the year as well as opportunities to donate your time and talents to our school. These events are designed to foster fellowship and philanthropy between the larger LCS community and our deserving students in order to maintain the LCS standards of academic excellence today and in the future.

Here are some of the many ways you can get involved:

Treasures of the Heart Auction

Each March, our school holds our annual “Treasures of the Heart” Auction.  This is an elegant evening out featuring both a live & silent auction and student testimony. Monies raised from the event go towards the School’s Annual Fund and a yearly Compelling Need, addressing a specific need/project in the school seeking financial support.

The event draws over 250 guests, a mixture of Capital District business professionals, LCS families and alumni and new families who are invited to join our existing families to learn more about what LCS is all about.

This event would not be a success without the over 350 business donors and table sponsors who give to the event. If you would like to help by donating a product or service to the event, or sponsor a table, please contact Meg Booth at or 434-6051.

Annual Golf Tournament Benefitting the Mike Davis Memorial Fund for Tuition Assistance

Join us for a great day of golf and help support the Mike Davis Memorial Fund for Tuition Assistance. Mike Davis was a parent of one of our Alumni, and a very dear friend to many of us at Loudonville Christian School. The fund provides assistance to parents whose desire is for their children to receive an education committed to high scholastic standards and an evangelical view of God and the world, but who are facing difficult economic times. Numerous families and their children have benefited greatly from this special event.

Donors have the opportunity to partner with the school through a variety of sponsorship levels. Click here for information about the Golf Tournament and a list of our generous donors. For additional information about sponsoring the event or to partner with us, please contact Ashley Dariano at or 434-6051.

Each year in early June our school participates in a school-wide day of service. The Serve-A-Thon, a one-day community service fundraiser, is an extension of the ministry days we participate in throughout the year.

This event:

  • Allows our students to put their faith into action! We want to be doers of the Word and not just hearers; serving others, not just ourselves.
  • Seeks to meet needs in our community, involving the entire school, PreK-12, in service projects that will have a tangible outcome all over the Capital District.
  • Is a chance for our students to actively participate in fundraising for our school. Rather than sell something or be involved in a physical challenge, like a Jog-A-Thon, we will be serving, ministering, and becoming an active part of our community.

Parent-Teacher Fellowship (PTF)

The Parent-Teacher Fellowship at LCS is an active ministry that seeks to provide cooperation and communication between the parents and teachers through service, fellowship, and prayer support.   Every parent and teacher is automatically a part of the PTF and is welcome to volunteer to help with events and activities as they see fit.  While not specifically under the direction of the PTF, parents are currently offering their services in the following ways: athletics, baking for events, room parents, public relations, LCS Annual Gala & Auction, cooking school lunches, club advising, intramurals, and various special events.  The faculty and administration are very appreciative of the support provided by the PTF. For more information please contact Meg Booth, Director of External Affairs and Admissions, at

Colonie Center School Bucks

Our school participates in the Colonie Center School Bucks program. For every $1 spent at Colonie Center, LCS will receive 1 school buck. Receipts can be turned into Guest Services or the School Office within 60 days of purchase. Any store or service (USPS, movie tickets, birthday parties, etc.) are eligible. Our school also participates in concerts at Colonie Center, Barnes & Noble Book Fair, Coats for Kids and many more programs, earning additional school bucks for our school.

Last year our school earned 2nd place, and the $4,000 prize money went to further enhance the Arts & Music program at LCS.

Box Tops for Education

Since our school began our Box Tops program, we have raised over $10,000 for our school! These monies have helped to support our Physical Education and Arts program at school, as well as many other Departments.

Box Tops are collected all year long and contests among the grades are often held throughout the year. Box Tops can be dropped off in the Main Office, labeled with the grade they are supporting.
