LCS desires for students to broaden their experience by having the chance to participate in theatrical productions during the school year. Under the guidance of gifted directors, students put their acting, artistic, and technical gifts to work!

Productions for the school range from stage plays to musicals and seek to reflect the mission and values of LCS.

Junior High

Each year, the 8th grade class performs a play as a means of unifying the class and providing a foundation and appreciate for theater in high school. As a closure to junior high, the 8th grade class works together to put on a show.

Upper School

Students in 6th to 12th grades are invited to audition for the high school production! We encourage students to use their gifts and talents in all areas of production—stage crew, make up, costuming, set design, and acting. We believe these gifts can be used to enrich both the student and LCS.

Past Productions include:

  • Mary Poppins
  • Leaving the Light On
  • The Importance of Being Earnest
  • Godspell
  • Toby Show
  • Beauty and the Beast
  • High School Musical
  • You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown
