Our combined class is focused on tailoring instruction to the unique needs of each student. By integrating Pre-K and Kindergarten, we create a rich environment that allows us to adapt our teaching to the developmental stages of every child. Kindergarteners will receive the strong academic instruction necessary for their success in 1st grade, while Pre-K students will be encouraged to participate in this learning at a level suitable for their development. Thanks to the expertise of our staff and the support of academic coaching, this program will cater to each child's current abilities and foster their growth in both academic and social-emotional areas.
Curriculum
The Pre-K programs are dedicated to building a foundation for learning. Math, science, language arts, and social studies are taught through theme-based units and in conjunction with a letter of the week.
These young learners create an interactive notebook of themes and letters that is compiled over the course of the year. Lessons are infused with art and music, teaching children across modalities.
Daily Routine
Every day, students participate in both large group and individual activities. Circle time and learning centers keep children engaged and singing worship songs help guide their young hearts.
Teachers take great care to meet with students one on one to provide individualized learning, reinforcing the development of each one.
Snack, quiet time, and free play are essentials to each day in Pre-K.

The Pre-K learning experience goes beyond the classroom walls through field trips and special activities scheduled throughout the school year.
Tuition and Program Times
Pre-K
LCS offers families both 5 day and 3 day programs to 4 year old children, as well as an extended day that continues into the afternoon.
- Half day program runs 7:50 am to 11:50.
- Full day program runs 7:50 am to 3 pm.
Parents may choose from Monday to Friday full or half days, or Monday, Wednesday, Friday full or half days.
